Content and fix mod for Total War: Kingdoms

Sully's Official patch Mod is a free game utility for the 2006 Total War installment Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms. This add-on serves as an update to an earlier work, introducing fixes and adding a couple of original content. Having this mod is an excellent addition to your turn-based strategy experience despite a few restrictions.

One prominent feature of Sully's Official patch Mod is that dismounted units become separate, playable characters. Updated building tiers and reworked game economics make this mod fun and engaging. You can also check out  The Last Kingdom (M2TW) Mod or JLMPs Vanilla Kingdoms 2022 Mod.

More realistic and challenging

As the name suggests, Sully's Official patch Mod was created as an update for an earlier mod, the Bare_Geomod, also for Total War: Kingdoms. To use it, you’ll need to have this prerequisite. You should also check the version and ensure that it’s a base, unmodded release too. Running the patch mod without the proper requirements will only cause the game to crash

Additionally, it also takes assets from other mods by other creators, usually using custom models for its largest feature: dismounted units. In the base game, mounted units like cavalry can’t dismount, with the mod offering a second chance for these units. Still, without the mount/ dismount feature from other Total War titles, the mount and the rider can’t be considered as two separate units.

In terms of game mechanics, it slashes the prices for all units and buildings across all factions. Additionally, it reworks the building tiers for everyone, making the game more balanced while opening opportunities for new strategies. It even goes so far as to balance the volume of gunpowder units, which feels historically reliable as well as game-balanced. The mod even updates the text files for tooltips and unit descriptions.

Tricky to set up, but nice to have

Overall, Sully's Official patch Mod is still a good update for the Geomod add-on, making your Total War: Kingdoms gameplay experience even more enjoyable. It implements changes to all factions, rebalances the game, and introduces new features such as the reusable dismounted units. It might be difficult to set up, with its stringent set of requirements, but it’s worth it.
